Accommodation
ROOMS:Zebra Moon can accommodate large groups of up to 70 guests. We have 7 small rooms ( twins and doubles) and 8 dormitories. The dormitories can sleep between 5 and 7 guests. We provide bedding, please bring your own towels.Ideal for School groups and camps, church retreats, hiking groups, conferences and team building. Zebra Moon allows guests to enjoy the country side while still being close to the quaint village of Greyton.

SELF CATERING ACCOMMODATION: There are ample facilities for large groups. Adequate crockery, cutlery and utensils for 70 guests.Ideal for School groups and camps,christian retreats, hiking groups and conferences and team building.Note the beautiful wood fired stove, wonderful for heating the whole kitchen up in winter!The small rooms also have their own separate equipped kitchenette.There are braai facilities outside.Catering can be provided on request.CHURCH GROUPS: A popular weekend retreat for Church groups and Christian and youth camps.Zebra Moon is used for Christian retreats and camps by many congregations in the Western Cape.
HIKING GROUPS: The Boesmanskloof and Genadendal hiking trails are very close. The Boesmanskloof hiking trail starts a kilometre from Zebra Moon and the Genadendal hiking trail start is 6kms away.Come and hike one of our shorter half day hikes. See more on hiking on the Activities page. BACKPACKERS:Zebra Moon offers affordable accommodation to backpackers and South African travellers.Backpacker accommodation in dorms and twins and doubles. For self drive backpackers Greyton is 30km from the N2 on tar.Contact us to arrange collection from the Baz Bus stop in Caledon. CONFERENCE/TEAM BUILDING: Zebra Moon is an ideal venue for an affordable conference for students and ngo’s. BIRTHDAY PARTIES: Great for birthday parties. A venue for a party for a childs birthday or a 40th.Best to book the whole venue. We can arrange activities.
SCHOOLS: There are several options available to School groups and tours.School camps focussed on outdoor activities. Please refer to the School page for information on activities, facilitation and catering.
EXCLUSIVE USE(If a group would like exclusive use of the whole building,excluding the staff wing, so as to focus on the group’s activities without distractions.): There is a minimum number of 30 guests for a two night stay to get exclusive use of the building, in addition bookings will have to be far in advance ( to ensure there are no other prior bookings ).
RATES: 2012: Dorms- R100.00 pppn. Small rooms R280.00 per night. Singles R 180.00 per night. |
