Short walks: there are 9 walks described in the Greyton visitor booklet which vary between one and three hours.Genadendal Hikes: There are two hikes to Genadendal. The first is a 7km walk and is a fairly easy walk although there are two steep hills. The second is a 5 to 6 hour hike along the mountainside, it is very beautiful but has a very steep start! Walking in the Village: Greyton’s peaceful, tree-lined streets are ideal for walking. One can admire the beautiful mountain backdrop and appreciate the beautiful homes which all follow a traditional Cape architectural style. One can easily clock up 5 kms and more on a varied route including the Gobos river, the upper end of Main Street which ends right up against the mountains and back along Park or Main Street.
